DT Copic Marker Norge

I have some friends that means so much to me...and even if I haven't known them for my whole life, I can't imagine my life without... Todays card is for one of my sweetest friends.

A friend is someone who reaches for your hand
and touches your heart

We have a new challenge at Copic Marker Norge starting today and this is my inspirationcard.
I have used the wonderful Indian Tilda and Flowers Corner from Magnolia and coloured it all with Copic.
This time we want you to use our sketch and also use metal on your card.
I loved this sketch and I loved making something that wasn't 6x6" :)

Holy smoke what a darling image this is ♥
One of the most beautiful of all my Magnolia's I think.
It is the first time I have used the flower corner, and isn't it totally amazing??

My Copic:

I have used a mix of papers from Maja design and Kort og Godt matted on fantastic craft from Joy!
All my metal carms comes from Kreativ Scrapping. My swirl is the heart swirl from Magnolia and all my flowers are WOC and Papirdesign.

Magnolia Ink

The newest Magnolia Ink magazine is shipping these days and I was thrilled to bits when I found my own copy in the mailbox♥
The extreme talented Alberto is the man behind the lovely cover, and my wonderful teamie Mae made the back of it ♥
I was so glad to see that my two card are in there too, woohoo, so proud! lol

I was working my nightshift this weekend, but the weather was so lovely I hardly had time to sleep. My lovely princess Gabriella was picking up the mail and also gave me these lovely flowers, so I could just relax in a chair in the sun with the magazin and a hot coffee in my hand... Life IS good ♥♥

Here is a sneakpeak of what I have made for the magazine...

Hope you get your copy soon.
I feel so lucky to be on this amazing team with all these talented crafters from all around the world.
Still pinching my arm...

Lots of love
 Jill

Worlds greatest dad ♥

Happy birthday sweet pappa!!!
Hope you're having a fantastic day so far and hopefully the mailman has shown up on your doorstep this morning
♥Love you loads♥

On to my card :)
I just love the card I made for my father, think these two images looks fantastic together and even if it takes a few hours to colour them up, I think it is worth it in the end.

My images are Lucky Edwin and Golden Creek from Magnolia "Once upon a time 2013" merged together after this tutorial and coloured with Copic.

A bit darker colours than the last one I made, but hopefully not boring :)

I have bought some new TH gears and even if I HAD to use flowers I think my card look a bit masculine this time, lol

An easel card showing more of the gorgeous Maja design papers.
Cool charms from Kreativ Scrapping, Magnolia swirl, cheesecloth and some old letters from stash

The Maja text "Remember the days" works as a stopper for the easel

A tutorial ♥

Good morning my lovely friends and followers ♥
Today I will show you how I mask my images together. I love to create scenes with my stamps and especially my Magnolia stamps.
This is nothing new, but I just want to show you how I do it.
You will find this post in Norwegian at Kreativ Scrapping.

I love my Magnolia stamps so much and with all the wonderful new ones from the Once Upon a Time Collection making scenes are just so much fun!
I hope you like todays tutorial in how to mask images together.
Today I have used "Indian Tilda" and "Golden Creek" background from Magnolia

This is what you need:
Your stamps (two or more), Stamp paper (I use Perfect Colouring paper ) Inkpad (Black Memento is my choice since I need a waterbased inkpad for my Copic) Post it note papers og a regular white paper (a cheap one to make a test on!).
Ok, lets go!
This is so fun ♥
I always make a test on a "normal"paper first, so I can see that the stamps is placed well together before I stamp on my PCP (perfect Colouring paper)

You must always stamp the image that should be in front first.
I have stamped my Indian Tilda both on the paper and on the post it note.
The one on the post it note should be as close to the sticky side as possible

Then cut out the post it note image as close to the lines as you can. A good scissor is a must!

Put the post it note Tilda on top of your stamped image.

Ok, now you are ready to stamp your background image on top.
I have used the wonderful Golden Creek image. Love it!!

Time to move the mask!
You will now have a perfect stamped scene to use on a card :)
I decided I wanted my Tilda to be more to the right, so I changed it a bit whan I did my "real" image. That is why I always make a test first!

And here she is my wonderful Indian Tilda almost ready to use...

Sometimes it is difficult to cut perfect around the image or the stamping goes, well not that perfect ;) and then I always use my Copic Multiliner (totally addicted!!)
You can see it behind Tilda and around the windows

And here is my image ready to use on a card
coloured with my fantastic Copic Markers♥♥

And this is my card today.
Decorated with wonderful WOC flowers (soon at Kreativ Scrapping!!), a cute little charms and the beautiful Maja design Papers  "Vintage Spring Basics"

And here are my Copics:
A lot this time I'm afraid...
Skin: E21-51-50-93
Hair: E49-47-44-43-41
Dress: R24-22-02-01-00
Ground: W5-3-2-1-0, E81, E40

Sky: BG: 72-71 (hjemmelaget)-70-000
Sun: R24, YR 68-23-21
