A colouring tutorial ♥

Good morning and welcome to my Magnoliablog this wonderful Valentines day ♥

I have a project I made for Kreativ Scrapping to show you today, a colouring tutorial where I have coloured a Magnolia image with Copic on a Manilla tag.

When you are colouring on other surfaces than the ordinary Copic paper you may notice that the markers and colours behave a bit different. I always use darker colours then I colour on both Manilla tags and craft.
The other thing that is important is that the ink on the Manilla did dry faster, so I had to work a bit faster than on my ordinary paper. So if you aren't working that fast, take smaller sections at the time to avoid harch lines.
Ok, here we go ;)
The image is the wonderful "Bonny Tilda" from Magnolia.
She is stamped on a Manilla tag #8 with Memento black tuxedo ink
My choice of colours:
Skin: E23-21-51-50
Hair and bow: E77-74-71-70
At You Spica pen, Clear for the string and wings

Start by laying down a base with your E50 over the whole skin.
Remember that if you don't work so fast, you should take smaller sections at the time so the ink won't dry so much. Easier to blend it nice when the colours still are a bit wet.

Lay down your E23 where the shadows are deepest.
Under her arms, by the hair etc
Go half over your darkest colour with your next one, that is E21 and go a bit closer against the middle. Blend nice
Do the same thing with your next colour that is E51
I also used the E51 for her cheeks
Go over the rest of the motiv with the E50 and blend it in .
Repeat all the steps (except the E50 part in the beginning) if you want it a bit darker until you are satisfied with the depth.
Colour the bow and hair in the same way.
Lay down your base with E70 and then take E77-74-71-70
Use At you Spica on the string and wings.
Love these fine glitter pens, makes the loveliest shimmer ♥
Here she is my sweet Bonny Tilda♥

I was working together with my DTfriend Anne on this project and I sent the tag in the mail to her so she could decorate it.
Look here if you want to see the end result :)

Enjoy your day my friends
Hugs, Jill

My Edwin♥

Good morning friends and new followers ♥
I have so many wonderful friends, that I care so much about. When I joined the Magnolia DT my sweet friend Christine sent me this wonderful stamp as a gift. I love this cute Edwin stamp! Thank you so much my fantastic friend ♥♥ Mwah!

So I had to colour him up right away and make a card.
Haven't made an Edwin card in ages and I just loved it :)
Hope you like it as much as me

The image is just to cute for words :)
Had to pair him with some wonderful papers from Pion. They are from the Play time collection and to be honest, I thought that I didn't like them so much as when I saw them on cards I just thought no... BUT they are totally amazing! I have to make another one with the lovely pink papers too before I go on vacation on saturday.

Edwin is coloured with Copics and I have added some Crackle accent to the flowers and heart. Instead of the ordinary pink og red roses, I made them yellow and I just love it!
I think this is a perfect image for both Valentine and birthdays

Side view showing some more of the papers and here you can se the fantastic washitape with clocks on inside the card

Magnolia swirl, LOTV calendar stamp and some gorgeous flowers. I remember I was so happy when I found this stamp, I had been looking all over for something like that. ♥

Isn't the pom pom ribbon beautiful??
It comes from Melissa Frances and I think it gives a great texture to your card.

That was all from me today!
Wishing you a wonderful day.
I am off to bed after my nightshift, this post was supposed to go online all by it's self... but I was only in fixing a link and happened to deleted my whole post...

Is that breaking news or what!!

I am so thrilled and just couldn't wait to start♥♥

Sooo I have a card to show you today...
My first card as a part of the Magnolia DT...

I have used the wonderful Tilda with big Tulips and I have paired this beauty with the new Pion papers  Alma's sewing room.

I have also used my new Flourish edge punch from Martha Stewart

I have used flowers from WOC, Ridderholm and Kort og Godt.
Magnolia swirl, the most beautiful I know.

In the little vial I have some pearls and a little note and I have used some lovely cut outs from the Pion papers

My Tilda is coloured with Copics and I have added some liquid pearls to her hair and some Crackle accent to her tulips.

Hope you like her as much as me♥
